Fire Alarm Replacement BID CATEGORY 26- Fire Alarm GENERAL - The following shall not be interpreted as a complete itemization of the work to be performed under this Bid Category. This Bid Category Trade Contractor shall be responsible to perform all work reasonably interpreted to be included in its scope of work in accordance with the drawings and specifications in addition to these Bid Category notes of clarification. Include (Furnish and Install u.n.o): 1. Electrical are required to submit Electrical Cost Breakdown as a start-up submittal for approval. 2. Scope of work is NOT funded with federal funds (reference sample contract section 8.6) 3. All work shown in documents to be by this contractor. Including but not limited to:, electrical as indicated, demolition, painting, patching, etc. 4. Electrical demolition indicated in the documents. Include cutting and patching. Dispose of materials off site. 5. Removal of all fire alarm devices as shown in the documents, including but not limited to: pull stations, smoke detectors, magnetic door holder/release, water flow switch, wall mounted devices, tamper switches, duct detectors, est. 6. Install all fire alarm devices as shown in the documents, including but not limited to: ceiling mounted A/V fire alarm, ceiling mounted temperature detector, wall mounted A/V fire alarm indicating device, fire alarm pull station wall mounted visual fire alarm indicating device, ceiling mounted area smoke detector, duct smoke detector. wall mounted magnetic door holder/release, fire alarm control panel, est. Please note where cages/plastic covers are needed for devices.
