Renovation of a transportation facility in Clarksville, Tennessee. Working plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

**As of November 22, 2022 this project has been cancelled and will be rebid in a future date.** It is the city's desire to retain a duly qualified company/contractor for the purposes of: Building Rehabilitation of the L&N Train Station located at 189 Tenth Street. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Clarksville Purchasing Office will receive two (2) sets of sealed bidding documents, one (1) original and one (1) copy for the building rehabilitation of the existing building at 189 Tenth Street shall be submitted. Each bidder must include with the Bid Documents completed, signed, acknowledgement of receipt of Contractor Safety Guidelines, Conflict of interest statement, Drug Free Workplace Affidavit, and Attestation regarding Illegal immigrants or Aliens. Failure to do so shall result in your bid being rejected. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. The City is not responsible for mail that is not delivered in a timely manner by the United States Postal Service, any delivery service (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.) or emails that are sent by the City that end up in a vendor's spam or junk mail. The official time clock is on the wall in the Purchasing Department. This is a federally funded project: The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (section 3) and general/ primary contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) on Sam.gov before contract can be executed. On contracts funded in whole or in part by federal funds, contractors and subcontractors must pay laborers and mechanics employed directly upon the site of the work no less than the locally prevailing wages (including fringe benefits) in the Davis-Bacon wage determination in the contract for work performed.
