Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Borough of Midway in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statues of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinance. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract within ninety (90) days from the date bids were opened. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids submitted or any part thereof or item therein. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 11/22/2022 5:00 PM Demolition of community center including but not limited to: removal of concrete, removal of sidewalks, removal of building, filling various portions of below grade rooms, backfilling, grading, removal of tile and glue on 57'x30' gym floor, and site restoration. The project consists of the complete demolition of the building located at 304 Noblestown Road, Midway PA 15060. Contractor shall be responsible for the proper removal and disposal of building materials from the site, and grading of the site after building demolition. Contractor shall be responsible to topsoil and seed the site. The work is specified in the Contract Documents prepared by Redcon Engineering.
