This Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is an invitation by the University of Ottawa (Owner) to qualified mason contractors with experience acting in the capacity of General Contractor on heritage masonry projects specializing in limestone with rubble construction to submit proposals to be prequalified to realize masonry work to support the conservation of 100 Laurier. The scope of services for the project is described further in the RFSQ and it is intended that it will be completed over the summer of 2023. To facilitate the review of Prequalification Submissions, the University requires that Proponents comply with the following guidelines. The University is not responsible for any oversight in the review of a Prequalification Submission that is caused by a Proponent's failure to adhere to these guidelines: 1. Prequalification Submissions must be submitted in soft copy in PDF format using MERX online Electronic Bid Submission function. 2. Prequalification Submissions must be on 8.5" by 11" pages and include text in Calibri format and 10-point font size. Requested Org Charts may be displayed on 11" x 17" pages. 3. Prequalification Submission content must be in a narrative format and must provide clear, complete, concise responses to the RFSQ requirements. Where the Proponent does not follow the format prescribed, the score may be affected. 4. Where information is requested in this RFSQ, any response made in a Prequalification Submission must reference the applicable section number of the RFSQ where the request was made. All requirements must be answered sequentially; and 5. The Proponent must ensure that all sections, attachments, annexes and appendices are completed according to the instructions set out in the forms and in this RFSQ.
