Roof Replacement City Hall/ Police Station The Project includes the following work: o Remove/replace existing roof at City Hall (approximately 3,400 sq ft) and Police Station (approximately 2,085 sq. ft.) Bidders must secure their information as to the condition of the site and all local conditions affecting the work prior to submitting their proposals. Bidders are notified that the price bid must include everything as described in the specifications and shown on the drawings. No extra of any kind will be allowed unless ordered in writing by the Owner. The Construction Contract for this project is subject to "An Act regulating laborers, mechanics and other workers employed in any public works by the State, County, City or any public body or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works", approved June 26, 1941, as amended, being Section 820 ILCS 130/1-12 Illinois Complied Statutes, commonly referred to as The Prevailing Wage Act. The Construction Contract for this project is also subject to the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570). Any contract awarded under this Invitation for Bids will require performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
