Hall County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals for General Contractor Grant services from a professional general contractor or teams of contractors with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments with the implementation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs. These grants are funded by the federal government and administered at the state level by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA). Therefore, all activities must be performed in strict adherence to applicable federal and state regulations. Plans are to contract for general contracting services required for a potential FY2021 CDBG-CV Round 1 project and, if funded, for contracting services for the implementation of the project. The purpose of the project is to expand the existing Georgia Mountain Food Bank. DCA recommends that CDBG Recipients be sure to assign responsibility for reviewing construction bonds.
