The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for 8" Full Depth Asphalt Patching on US 76 at the Rocky River Bridge in Anderson County. All work shall conform to all requirements listed herein This solicitation is exempt pursuant to 11-35-710 (1). Start date: 03/11/2023 End date: 05/31/2023. Dates provided are estimates only. Any resulting contract will begin on the date specified in the notice of award. See clause entitled "Term of Contract - Effective Date/Initial Contract Period" Questions regarding the original solicitation or any amendment must be received by the Procurement Officer GRACE SOWELL 864-889-8022 SOWELLGF@SCDOT.ORG Contractor will remove by milling or saw-cut depth of 8 inches (Measured from original surface course) of existing asphalt and base material. After proof rolling to engineer's approval, contractor will replace with 8" of HMA per the Supplemental Specification attached. Any paint lines removed due to patching shall be replaced with 4" white or 4" yellow fast-dry paint. Compensation for 8" Full Depth Patching includes all aspects of excavation, milling, hauling off of material, asphalt, asphalt placement, and any other incidentals associated with this work. To fulfill the requirements of the pay item, work is to be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications and terms of the contract. The quantity for payment for Full Depth Patching is surface area of the patch to a uniform depth and is measured by the square yard (SY), complete and accepted.
