Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wantagh, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Location: Jones Beach State Park Sewage Digester Remove existing steel pipe and support frames from roof. Cap steel pipe to remain. Remove existing gravel built-up roof membrane. Fold up copper flashing for reuse with new roof. Remove coping stone and brick masonry in order to replace lintels and cracked bricks. Furnish and install new tapered insulation on roof. Remove existing roof drain, cut and cap drain-pipe below roof. Furnish and install new roof drain and pipe below ceiling through exterior wall to new leader head and downspout with new flashing for drain and all roof penetrations and new return pipes on existing vent pipes. Install new finished roofing system and reuse existing copper flashing. Insulate and patch existing opening in ceiling.
