Defence Construction Canada is calling for Request for Qualifications from local contractors to become pre-qualified to be on a Source list for Quick Response Tenders (QRT) / Urgent Response Tenders (URT) for work required by the Department of National Defence, at St-Jean Garrison and other related sites for a three (3) years period. Prequalification will be for the following category of service(s): 1) General Building Contractor DCC may utilize QRT's and URT's for projects ranging in value up to $300,000.00. The Technical Document for this opportunity may be ordered by logging on their website This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Agreement on Internal Trade. THIS PROJECT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT The Contractors who meet the minimum criteria of the Request for Qualifications and are in possession of Designated Organization Screening (DOS) will be selected first to be included on the Source List (Group A) for possible immediate commissions under Group A. The Contractors who meet the minimum criteria of the Request for and do not hold a Designated Organization Screening (DOS) will be sponsored and placed on a second Source List (Group B) pending completion of the process. Once the Security Requirements are met, these companies could then be added to the Group A Source List and be offered commissions under that Source List. In the meantime, and where security requirements exist on specific commissions, those commissions will be offered only the companies who have valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) (Group A).
