Site work for a water / sewer project in Marion, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Contractor and all of his subcontractors shall be required to pay a rate or rates of wages which shall not be less than those currently determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services for Marion, Ohio, and shall further comply with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or firm interested in the same and be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid submitted in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54; or a bond for the full amount of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its' performance properly secured. The bid security shall be forfeited if the said bidder fails to enter into a contract with the City of Marion, Ohio, and to furnish the required performance bond within fifteen (15) days after notice of acceptance of said bid. The amounts bid for labor and materials must be entered separately, on the forms provided upon application, and must be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked: Barnhart Street Sewer Improvements Should any bid be rejected, the accompanying check will be returned to the bidder forthwith and should any bid be accepted, the check will be returned upon the proper execution and securing of the contract. All contract documents will be provided to prospective bidders on a CD, and will include instructions as to which documents need to be printed, filled out, and returned. The right is reserved by the City of Marion, Ohio, to reject any or all bids.
