The Contractor and all of his subcontractors shall be required to pay a rate or rates of wages which shall not be less than those currently determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services for Marion, Ohio, and shall further comply with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or firm interested in the same and be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid submitted in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54; or a bond for the full amount of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its' performance properly secured. The bid security shall be forfeited if the said bidder fails to enter into a contract with the City of Marion, Ohio, and to furnish the required performance bond within fifteen (15) days after notice of acceptance of said bid.
