Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of Nov 30 the project did not received bids. Irving ES-Chiller Replacement- Prequalified Various Trades Vendor (over $25,000 vendors) PLA for work over 25K Provide Labor and Materials: Replacement for BOTH units, 2 @ 100 Ton to match the original design. Local piping replacement at the chillers, and new local controls for the new chiller (stand alone for future integration to a BAS). We would also include specs and details as needed. 1. Demolish existing 100 Ton air cooled chillers located within the rooftop , including all associated local controls, piping, insulation, pipe supports and other associated items. 2. Reclaim refrigerant from chillers in a State approved container and return to CPS. 3. Disconnect power from existing chiller and remove all wiring, conduit, supports, disconnect switch, etc, back to distribution panel within Boiler House 4. Remove all chilled water piping, valves and fittings from units to the point of connection. Piping is 6". Include removal of insulation and supports. 5. Provide new 100 Ton air cooled variable speed chiller on existing structural support members 6. Provide new spring isolators for new chiller 7. Provide new chilled water piping, valves and fittings from new chillers to point of combination prior to pumps including associated insulation, supports, etc. Piping to be 6" 8. Large crane for lift of old units out and new units in 9. BAS integration of new Chillers into BAS 10. Allowance for repairs needed after crane lift of old and new units to parking lot or sidewalk 11. Repairs or modifications to existing structural framing including scraping and painting 12. Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 13. If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 14. Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 15. All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 16. Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 17. All trash must be removed off-site by the contractor. 18. Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 19. All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing. Questions Due Date: Nov 2nd 2022, 3:30 PM CDT
