Site work and renovation of a civil project in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Contract 1 The Contract is a waterline extension to extend water service to the former Water Association water distribution system. The extension will consist of approximately 9,700 linear feet of 8 PVC water line, 2,320 linear feet of polyethylene service tubing, ten 8 gate valves, six fire hydrants, 16 connections to existing water lines, reconnecting 72 water meters to the new water line, one booster station, restoration, and all appurtenances for a complete project. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Mason County Public Service District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The Work will be substantially completed within 180 calendar days for Contract #1 and 270 calendar days for Contract #2 after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 210 days for Contract #1 Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents will be transmitted to the prospective Bidder. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method requested. Bidding Documents are available for purchase in the following formats A two envelope system will be used. Envelope No. 1 must have the following information presented on the front: Name and address of Bidder Bid on Contract- #1 - J2Y35 Distribution System Improvements and Contract #2 - J2Y35 Water Tank Replacement Received by the Mason County Public Service District Envelope No. 2 labeled Bid Proposal shall also be placed inside of Envelope #1. Envelope No. 1 will be opened first and the Bid Opening Requirement items checked for compliance as outlined on the Bid Opening Checklist on page BOR - 1 of these contract documents. If such documents are found to be in order, Envelope No. 2 Bid Proposal, will then be opened and will be publicly read aloud. If the documents required to be contained in Envelope No. 1 are not in order, Envelope No. 2 Bid Proposal will not be opened and the Bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per day. The Mason County Public Service District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
