The Port of Seattle (Port) invites qualified firms, or teams of firms, interested in providing Testing and Inspection Services for the Main Terminal Low Voltage Replacement Project to submit written proposals. The Port intends on issuing one (1) project-specific contract as a result of this Solicitation. The initial period of performance of any contract resulting from this Solicitation is expected to be one (I) year, with the option to extend for three (3) additional years for a potential four (4) years total. TITLE VI SOLICITATION NOTICE The Port, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will have afforded that disadvantaged business enterprises had full and fair opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and were not discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with the Port. Any such complaint must, be in writing and filed with the Port's Title VI Coordinator within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date the alleged discriminatory occurrence. Title VI Discrimination Complaint Forms may be obtained from the office of the Title VI Coordinator at no cost to the complainant by calling (206) 787-4066 or sending an email to mailbox.t3@portseattle.org. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
