Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for OnDemand Services for Glass for various locations throughout the district. GCPS plans to award a pool of qualified contractors from which it may select and implement the services identified in this solicitation document. Contractors are advised that the selection process will include an evaluation of many variables in addition to the rates for the requested service(s) in order to make the appropriate selection for each installation. Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) may contract with more than one contractor, or as deemed to be in the best interest of the district, for the term specified in the solicitation. Each contractor is cautioned that any contract resulting from a response to this solicitation shall be of a non-exclusive nature. GCPS makes no guarantees with respect to the amount or volume of business billed under any resulting contract. GCPS reservesthe right to award to one or more contractors. Afterthe award is made, work will be assigned based on approach, experience, and cost. Additional projects outside of the sample job listed within this solicitation will be quoted individually, at the current market rates and will be awarded based on approach, experience, and cost. The selected contractor(s) will be expected to perform all necessary services related to the requirements associated with any selected GCPS identified project. Any/all selected projects will be identified by GCPS. It is GCPS's intent, when possible, to obtain 3 quotes to determine the best fit and overall success of the project. This contract is effective December 16, 2022 through December 15, 2023, or upon award. Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) reserves the right to extend this contract for a maximum of three (3) additional one-year periods for a total potential term length of 4 years with the approval of the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Bid extensions will be approved in one-year increments. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 50-5-64, this contract shall not be deemed to create a debt of The Board for the payment of any sum beyond the fiscal year of execution or, in the event of a renewal, beyond the fiscal year of such renewal. All questions or commentary must be received in Bonfire under the "Message Center" section no later than 9:00 AM, Thursday, November 17, 2022, to allow for appropriate and timely responses. Award will be made to the supplier(s) submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. GCPS reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety. GCPS reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its discretion. All companies submitting a bid will be notified in writing of award. Due to order requirements, funding deadlines, "demand usage" contracts, and the estimated quantities listed on the bid table may be purchased in a combination that is dependent upon the awarded suppliers inventory ability to meet the district's needs. GCPS reserves the right to secure services from multiple agencies based on need and availability. GCPS reserves the right to act in its own best interest during the selection process and to waive any and all technicalities either expressed or implied or as stated in other sections of this solicitation.
