Site work for a water / sewer project in Benton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the installation of approximately 12,350 l.f. of 6"- 2" PVC & HDPE water mains to be installed by trenching and boring methods along Hunter Road and Walnut Grove Road. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Marshall County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The contract award will be made in writing to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose qualifications indicate the award will be in the best interest of the Owner and whose bid/proposal complies with all the prescribed requirements. No Notice of Award will be given until the Owner has concluded such investigation as deemed necessary to establish the responsibility, qualifications and financial ability of Bidders to do the work in accordance with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the Owner within the time prescribed.
