Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Jennings County, Indiana will receive sealed bids. Delivered bids must be received and time stamped in order to be accepted. Annual bids will be received for the following materials, supplies, and/or services: Diesel Fuel and Gasoline - Bulk Delivered to County Crushed Aggregates, Sand, Deicer Sand - FOB Plant Pickup Crushed Aggregates, Sand, Deicer Sand - Delivered to County Hot/Cold Mix Asphalt - FOB Plant Pickup Liquid Asphalt Culvert Pipes The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informalities in the bidding and to accept bids as it deems to be in the best interest of the County. Each bid must be accompanied by a sufficient Contractor's Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid of which will be forfeited should the bidder fail to enter into a contract. All bids, unless otherwise specified, shall be considered a firm bid for the entire contract period (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2023). Bids shall be submitted on the prescribed forms with Form 95 and Non-Collusion Affidavit. Bids may be held for a period of up to 30 days prior to award by the Board of Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners retains the right to negotiate with any and all bidders, after bids are submitted, should all bids exceed the amount of funds appropriated by the County for said services or materials.
