Purpose This City and TIB funded project provides for roadway improvements of S 136th St from 1st Ave S to Des Moines Memorial Drive by the construction of street improvements including sidewalk reconstruction, curb bulbs, asphalt planning and overlay, and new channelization. Additional improvements include storm drainage, pedestrian push button, curb ramp installation, and signal upgrades at 136th St and 8th Ave S intersection and other Work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer's estimate is $5,750,000.
