Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to solicit snow removal for Student Housing buildings (46 buildings) which are listed on Attachment 3.
Snow removal of pedestrian sidewalks from residence doors to main sidewalks, or space around buildings as follows. Stairs and landings where applicable. Most of the work consists of smaller areas where hand shovels or snow blowers would be
used instead of snow plows. No streets need to be plowed. Sidewalk areas pictured in brown or orange are considered main sidewalks that the University is responsible for and are not included in scope of work.
Remove snow when accumulation is 2 inches or more. If snow falls overnight, then removal should occur before 7 am. Work should start on December 1, 2022 and will end on March 17,2023 as needed. BSU Housing will make available staff to walk through the designed snow removal areas prior to the submittal date to help ensure understanding of the removal area. Boise State may on occasion choose to perform services listed in this solicitation with its
own personnel.
Contractor shall adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines. The contractor shall not enter into any subcontracts for any services described herein without obtaining prior written approval from the Boise State University Procurement Department. Any persons employed by the contractor in support of the requirements of this contract, shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor; no additional compensation
will be paid for any other than the recipient of the award. Initial Term of the Contract shall be for a period of four (4) months. Following the Initial Term, the parties may extend the Contract under the same pricing, terms and conditions,
on an annual basis, upon mutual written consent for up to 4 additional one (1) year terms. Late quotes will be disqualified and not allowed or accepted.
