Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Meteghan River, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
In general terms, the work at the school will involve but not be limited to the provision of labour, material, equipment and supervision necessary to removal old asphalt, relay gravel base of 6 inches and asphalt base of 3 inches, compacted to 2 1/2 inches, and apply new asphalt in the designated areas. The areas included in the scope of work requested in this tender are viewable on appendix A; Section 1 - Approx. 12,500 sqft. Section 2 - Approx.11,000 sqft and Section 3 - Approx. 15,000 sqft. (See sketch in Appendix A) . Sections 1 and 2 should be paved standard (see appendix b) and section 3 (bus loop) should be paved heavy duty. TIMELINE: Project has been postponed. Re-tender timelines are unconfirmed. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
