The Washington County Public Works Department is issuing this request for proposal (RFP) for final design services, stakeholder engagement, and construction support for County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 12, 75th Street North/Stillwater Blvd., from East Ave/Hallam Ave S to Kimbro Ave N. This project is segmented into three segments shown in the map below. In 2017/2018, a long-term corridor improvements study and preliminary layout was developed by the County for the section of County Highway 12 from Old 244 to Jamaca Ave. This process included public engagement, stakeholder involvement, and technical analysis to develop a preferred layout for this corridor. This phase of work created a plan to improve operations and safety along the corridor by evaluating intersection options, capacity, lane configuration, drainage, and sidewalk/trail options to accommodate current traffic and pedestrian levels as well as future traffic, bicycle and pedestrian growth. From this long-term corridor improvement study a proposed plan layout was created. For reference the layout can be found in the share file link below. Part of this roadway section was reconstructed in 2020 and now the County is looking to improve the remaining portion from East Ave/Hallam Ave to Jamaca Ave. Washington County seeks consultant assistance advancing this proposed layout to final construction documents as well as reengaging the public and local business owners to remind them of this proposed plan and listen to any additional input they may have. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
