The Work will involve construction of a channel to re-establish access to the existing boat launch slabs and dock system in periods of low water. The work will take place in winter/frozen conditions. Emailed tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 per cent of the tender and consent of surety letter. The Contractor shall examine all drawings and specifications to ascertain the scope of work. He shall visit the site and compare drawings and specifications with the existing site conditions. The Contractor shall bring to the attention of the Consultant all discrepancies between drawings and existing site conditions during the time of tendering in sufficient time to permit issuance of clarification by addendum. Failure to report discrepancies will not relieve the Contractor or any of his sub-trades from performing the work as intended and at no additional cost to the Owner.
