Project Description: The future Parking Structure 7 (PS7) will be constructed in the Eastern quadrant of campus, in the open space and parking lot east of Mind Institute. The entry points to the new PS7 structure will be from 50th street and may require upgrades to the intersection of 50th/2nd Ave and 49th St. The project may require rerouting of utilities, removal of landscaping and/or structures, or other similar work that will need to be coordinated by the design and construction team. Concurrent with the construction of PS7 there are major construction projects in the vicinity. Site access, construction circulation, laydown areas, etc. will need to be coordinated closely with the University. More specific information regarding access, parking stall count, integrated bike parking room(s) and other constraints will be provided within the criteria documents. The project will meet UC Sustainable Practice Policy (UCSPP) and will be ParkSmart Certified. The project will be under the University Controlled Insurance Program (UCIP). Participants must join the virtual meeting before 10 a.m.; the virtual meeting room will be open by 9:45 a.m. Participants arriving later than 10 a.m. will not be allowed to submit proposals as Design-Builder on the project. Attendance will be confirmed by roll call; please designate one person from each firm who will confirm attendance.
