Questions Due Date: Nov 21st 2022, 12:00 PM MST The purpose of this Bid is to contract with a qualified Firm/Contractor to weatherize Villago Middle School to prevent further interior and exterior damage to the building. This project's scope of work involves, but is not limited to, the following: A. Removal and replacement of all exterior sealants at control joints, expansion joints, joints at building perimeter, and joints between dissimilar materials, such as hollow metal door and window frames to block. B. Repairs of cracks, holes and voids in existing exterior concrete masonry unit and stucco walls C. Application of block filler and elastomeric water repellant coating on all exterior building walls, including the inside face of parapets above roofs. D. Painting of exterior metals, including doors and frames, metal fascias, copings, gutters, downspouts, metal soffit panels, and steel canopies. E. Installation of new gasketing and sill sweeps at all exterior doors. F. Removal and reinstallation of metal copings as required to install new self-adhered waterproof membrane. Replacement of any damaged or rotted wood blocking at top of parapets. G. Excavation and waterproofing of perimeter foundation walls. H. Coordination with Structural Engineer for inspections and repairs as noted on the drawings and in the structural assessment report. I. GPR of existing masonry lintel and removal of localized masonry face shells as indicated on the drawings and in the structural assessment report. J. Add-alternate scope to include painting of all existing metal fencing and gates. K. Add-alternate scope to replace exterior light fixtures with LEDs. L. Add-alternate scope to paint interior face of all exterior hollow metal doors and frames. All work is to be completed as shown pre drawings and documents included with this bid.
