The DLBA seeks bids from Concrete Suppliers/Contractors interested in providing services for the Detroit Land Bank Authority. Contract duration: 1 year Contract renewal: Not Applicable Q & A deadline: Nov 18, 2022 5:00:00 PM EST TEMPORARY SAFETY FENCING Provide and maintain security fencing for the duration of the contract. Refer to Product Design Schedule for product information. DEMO CONCRETE Break up concrete at front porch and remove off site to code legal dump. DEMO CONCRETE STEPS Break up concrete steps at front porch and remove off site to code legal dump. FOOTING--CONTINUOUS 12" WIDE Excavate a 12" wide x 42" deep trench to solid bearing. Pour 12" wide footing reinforced with at least two #4 rebar securely wired and set on chairs. FOOTING--PIE Excavate a straight sided 24" x 24" x 42" deep trench to solid bearing. Pour pier footing and cast a rod to anchor pier. ORCH STOOP/SLAB--CONCRETE Erect forms for a 4" thick concrete stoop reinforced with 6x6 welded wire fabric. Where stoop abuts the building, install 1/4" thick pre-molded joint material for the full depth of the stoop. Pour concrete with broom finish perpendicular to the direction of traffic and remove forms. Seal porch slab against building. Use a non-sag, single component, urethan sealant. Include backer rod as required by manufacturer's instructions. Color to be selected by DLBA. CONCRETE STEP REPLACEMENT Compact 4" of gravel over a well drained and compacted subgrade. Form and pour concrete steps with 7- 1/2 risers and at least 10" treads. Reinforce with 6"x6" welded wire fabric and #4 rebar in nosing. Round all nosings; trowl and broom finish across direction of traffic. Remove forms. DRIVEWAY APRON--CONCRETE Demo existing approach, prep and form area and pour new concrete. Excavate, level and compact subgrade. Form, pour and broom finish a concrete apron to the City of Detroit's specifications. Remove all forms, regrade and spot seed. DRIVEWAY--CONCRETE Demo existing driveway- not including approach, prep and form area and pour new concrete. Level surface, prepare a 3" gravel base over a uniformly graded & compacted subgrade. Form and pour concrete, 4" thick by 10' wide driveway. Provide #10 welded wire mesh, expansion joints at 10' intervals, and a broom finish surface that directs water away from the building. Install 1/4" thick pre-molded joint material where driveway abuts building. Seal joint between building and driveway with a non-sag, single component, urethan sealant. Include backer rod as required by manufacturer's instructions. Remove forms. Regrade and seed disturbed areas
