The Cumberland Valley Area Development District (CVADD), through a Brownfi elds Assessment Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), is requesting qualifi cations from qualifi ed environmental consulting/ engineering firms for an area-wide Brownfields hazardous substances assessment. The project includes the identifi cation and inventory of potential Brownfield sites in the CVADD eight-county region, coordination with local, state, and federal agencies in the identification of specific sites, conducting Phase I site assessments, conducting Phase II assessments, as appropriate, conducting ABCA Remedial Planning, preparation of required written reports including, but not limited to, Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), Health and Safety Plans, Assessment, Cleanup and Redevelopment Exchange System (ACRES) reporting, quarterly reporting, and working with local committees via public meetings and other forums to discuss progress and outcomes of the project.At least one (1) signed original and fi ve (5) copies of their qualification statements must be submitted.
