The project was not awarded and all bids were rejected at this time Retaining Wall Replacement 19 & 21 Herkimer St.Work is generally described as the furnishing and installing six (6) new catch basins and approximately 145 LF of 12" storm drain piping, full depth reconstruction of approximately 2,660 SF of existing asphalt pavement, approximately 92 LF of retaining wall, approximately 121 LF asphalt wing curb, approximately 94 LF commercial aluminum fencing with new gate and associated site grading/restoration.The project shall be substantially completed on or before May 31, 2023. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis.Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work.Bids received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mailbox or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the USPS before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The village office will be closed on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
