The work includes construction of one (1) gravel packed well with foundation; one (1) ground storage tank with foundation; one (1) hydropneumatic tank including foundation; four (4) horizontal split case booster pumps with foundations; one (1) 20,000 gallon hydropneumatic tank including foundation one (1) generator including foundation; building including foundation; disinfection equipment; plant piping; electrical, instruments, and control work including service; protective coatings; driveway; fencing and gate; site grading and drainage, drainage swales; hydro-mulch seeding; and all additional items shown on the construction plans or needed for a completely functional water plant and water well. Necessary replies will be issued to bidders of record as addenda, which becomes a part of the bidding instruments. Oral instructions do not form a part of the bidding instruments. Bidders should contact the Engineer not less than 72 hours before bid opening to secure any addenda that may affect bidding Delayed payments. Should the Owner fail to make payment to the Contractor of the sum named in any partial or final statement, when payment is due, then the Owner shall pay 16 to the Contractor, in addition to the sum shown as due by such statement, interest thereon at the rate of six (6) per cent per annum, unless otherwise specified, from date due as provided under Sections 5.05 and 5.08, until fully paid, which shall fully liquidate any injury to the Contractor growing out of such delay in payment, but the right is expressly reserved to the Contractor in the event payments be not promptly made, as provided under Section 5.05, to at any time thereafter treat the contract as abandoned by the Owner and recover compensation, as provided under Section 8, unless such payments are withheld in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.09. One (1) 450-kW diesel driven emergency generator with separate fuel tank and fuel containment structure. f. Control building with foundation including disinfection equipment. g. Protective coatings for all facilities. h. Hydro-mulch seeding. i. All required electrical and instrumentation work. j. All else as shown on the construction drawings and contract documents for a completely functional water plant facility
