CDBG Market St. Elderly Affordable Rental Housing Project located at 810 Sanders Avenue, Laredo, Texas 78040 The project consists of a seven single unit affordable housing project complex with associated site and utility improvements per the prepared plans and specifications from Project Architect - Sepulveda Associates Architects, Inc. Construction contract time for the project is 180 Calendar Days. Each bid and a bid guaranty in the form of a bidder's bond having a minimum Best's Rating A according to Best's Key Rating Guide Latest Edition from a surety duly authorized and licensed in the State of Texas, certified check, or cashier's check must be originals and must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Bidder. When submitted by mail, this envelope shall be placed in another envelope addressed as indicated in this Notice to Bidders and shall be marked as a bid for the project above referred. Notice is hereby given of the Special Provisions of this Project as it pertains to the Labor Standards Provisions Execution Order No. 11246, Secretary's Order No. 28, concerning an Affirmative Action Program for eligible projects guidelines for resident employment of Wage Determination. Notice is also given that approximately 100% of the total cost will be funded with the use of Federal Funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Only bids and bid guaranties in the hands of the designated official at the time set in this Notice to Bidders shall be considered.
