Renovation of a medical facility in Strathroy, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Middlesex-London Health Unit (hereinafter referred to as MLHU) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek competitive bids to support the development and construction of a four operatory dental suite near its office location in Strathroy, Ontario. This project is being made possible due to capital funding received by the Government of Ontario to expand the Ontario Senior's Dental Care Program (OSDCP). Through this project, the Health Unit will be able to build additional operatories in Strathroy in order to address current wait times and expand services into Middlesex County. a) The Middlesex-London Health Unit is planning on renovating an empty, leased unit and creating a new "turn-key" Seniors Dental Clinic Suite of approximately 2,521 square feet, located inside the Shops on Sydenham Mall at 51 Front Street E, Strathroy, Ontario N7G 1Y5. b) A proposed PDF design layout drawing, outlining the preferred dental clinic space setup and requirements is attached to the RFP as a separate document. c) The width of the unit is approximately twenty-eight feet (28') and depth is approximately ninety feet (90'). d) The front entrance of the unit is inside a common area mall hallway. e) The back entrance is to the outside parking lot at the back of the mall. f) The unit is already fitted with a water supply meter, 125 AMP electrical service and an outside/rooftop natural gas supply line. g) Ideal target completion date is April 3rd, 2023.
