Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start June 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Project Description and Scope University of Wisconsin Madison Transportation Services is requesting a project to repair the following deficiencies for the UW University Bay Drive Ramp 76 (285-0A-9573): Background: GRAEF DFD Project No. 19A1B – Existing Ramp Evaluation was completed September 27, 2019. This Project shall address certain GRAEF Existing Ramp Evaluation recommendations and UW Transportation Services in-field inspection findings. Scope includes: Double tee joint and shear/ diaphragm (connector) repairs throughout the facility estimated at 2,600 linear feet of joint replacement and approximate 100-150 shear connectors requiring, inspection, welding and/ or replacement. Expansion joint/ EM Seal repairs throughout the facility estimated at 325 linear feet of joint replacement. Repair South-East shear wall spalling and cracking on 3rd floor. Replacement of approximately 12,200 square feet of driveway membrane, primarily on level 4, and to a lesser extent on levels 2 and 3. This membrane shall be replaced through a multi-phased process. Repair 300 linear feet of Full Depth cracks in flanges and webs of double tees, primarily on the South side of Level 4.
