General The Work to be performed generally consists of furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and supervision as required by the Contract Documents for furnishing, installing, testing and placing into operation the Western Pressure Zone Booster Pump Station including related accessory equipment LOCATION OF THE WORK The Western Pressure Zone Booster Pump Station work site is located just west of the intersection of 179th Street and Golden Pheasant Drive in Tinley Park, IL. Parking will be available on Golden Pheasant Drive. The types of Work to be performed include but are not limited to the following: A. Furnish and install new prefabricated booster pump station building including: Booster Pumps Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Electrical Pump Controls Pump Control Panel and SCADA System Electrical Distribution Panels B. Furnish and install ductile iron (DI) watermain piping, fittings, check valves and isolation valves. C. Furnish and install diesel engine standby generator. D. Furnish and install flow meter. E. Electric service installation. F. Site restoration. G. Sanitary sewer service. H. Three (3) remote site with underground precast concrete vaults containing pressure sustaining valves and associated piping.
