Site work and paving for a civil project in New York, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Construction Management Services for the West Branch Auxiliary Dam Slope Safety Improvements. The Agency is soliciting firms with CM experience on Dam and Roadway construction projects involving soil excavation, reconstruction of roadway and roadway drainage to prevent embankment erosion. In addition, the CM Consultant shall have experience coordinating with other City and State Agencies, utility companies and local municipalities. The West Branch Auxiliary Dam was completed in 1895. The dam is approximately 1.3 miles southwest of the main dam on the southern tip of the West Branch Reservoir. The dam is 64 feet high and 750 feet long and carries U.S. Route 6 along the crest of the dam. The upstream slope is approximately 2H:1V (Horizontal to Vertical). Plans indicate the downstream slope is at 2.4H:1V; however, the upper portion of the slope appears to be steeper. Deficiencies have been identified associated with creep of the downstream slope and observed movement associated with creep of the top portion of the downstream slope of the West Branch Auxiliary Dam. These issues include pavement cracking; surface drainage problems; leaning guide rails and utility poles; erosion and slope stability of the downstream slope; and ponded water at the downstream toe. The construction contract CRO-534 will address these deficiencies by staged construction work including slope stabilization, roadway reconstruction, drainage improvement and other site improvements. The construction phase for the roadway work is anticipated to be performed during nighttime work hours. The services under this contract will be to provide construction management oversight for contract CRO-534. The work includes flattening the slope of the dam, installing a seepage drain at the new toe of slope, installing slope monitoring instrumentation, and resurfacing the site access road, and reconstructing US Route 6 within the limits of the dam crest
