Project consists of Interior rehabilitation of the upper story of an existing two-story historic building. 1. The scope of involves restoration of remaining existing historic windows and window transoms, remove/replace of existing replacement windows, circa. 1990, remove/replace ground level hollow metal door and frame, remove and replace storefront system entrances and associated glazing areas, new concrete steps, landings, walks and rails in the vicinity of the building's main entries, new exterior lighting, door hardware, sheet metal flashing and trim, insulation, sealants, glazing and other work as indicated in the Contract Documents. 2. Work of this Contract is NOT subject to compliance with The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
