Site work for a civil project in Riviere Qui Barre, Alberta. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
ISC Project No. CU360. Construction of a new central reservoir and pumphouse with supply from both Sturgeon County & WILDRWSC regional line. Phase 1: construction of a new central reservoir with a capacity of 4,674 m3 for 10-year projected demand; new central pumphouse for water distribution at PHD of 15 L/s and fire protection of 233 L/s for 3-hour duration; replacement of 6 km of 150 mm dia. transmission line from Morinville and construction of 4.2 km of transmission line to the central reservoir from the east transmission line and 2.4 kms of transmission from the west transmission line at Sandy Beach, including an additional distribution line of 4.2 kilometers from the reservoir back to the Townsite; and replacement of 3.9 km of distribution in the Townsite. Phase 2: expansion of the central reservoir for a total capacity of 8,548 m3 for 20-year projected demand; and construction of 18 km of transmission and distribution piping to core areas and support fire flow. TIMELINE: Design is 33% complete. A Value Engineering Study is being completed by McElhanney. Tender and construction timelines will be determined pending completion of the study and once detailed design has been completed.
