Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Willis, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 21,500-square-foot, five-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; 2,800-square-foot, one-story above grade residential development; and residential development.
Provide Construction Manager at Risk services as defined in Government Code, Chapter 271.1182269, Subchapter F for Montgomery Co. ESD 1 Fire Training Complex near the intersection of Snoe Road and Calvary Road in Montgomery County, Texas. The Montgomery Co. ESD 1, Fire Training Complex will be located on Calvary Road near the intersection of Snoe Road and Calvary Road, down the road from the new Chambers Creek Community. The complex of buildings will be comprised of the following: - New Training Classroom Building (10,000 SF, single story) - New Residential Burn Building (2,800 SF, single story) - New Multi-story Training Tower (11,500 SF, four stories) The residential burn building and multi-story training tower will be unfinished structures for the purpose of firefighting training only. Site props for firefighter training includes an above ground trench rescue and confined space prop and drafting pond. Deadline for Questions and Inquiries: November 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Last Addenda (if necessary): December 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Contract Evaluations/Negotiations: December 2022- January 2023 Earliest Award by Montgomery Co. ESD 1: January 6, 2023 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to BRW Architects by email to Meredith Hayford, mhayford@brwarch.com. Offerors must submit with their Qualification, a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check in the amount of two (2%) percent of the estimated Project cost payable without recourse to Montgomery Co. ESD 1, or a bid bond in the same amount from a surety company holding permit from the State of Texas to act as a surety, as a guarantee that Offeror will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of contract. Qualifications without checks, as stated above, or acceptable bid bond may not be considered. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, of the General Conditions To The Construction Agreement Between Montgomery Co. ESD 1 And Contractor set forth Owner's requirements as to Performance and Payment Bonds. See, Texas Government Code chapter 2253. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Qualifications, to waive any and all informalities and irregularities and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Offeror, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Qualifications. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Qualification of any Offeror if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Offeror, whether because the Qualification is not responsive, or the Offeror is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner. Discrepancies in the multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of the unit prices. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum.
