The Montgomery County Department of Transportation, Division of Traffic Engineering and Operations is seeking to enter into four (4) contracts with experienced and qualified firms to provide a wide range of traffic engineering services on an as-needed basis. It is the intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the County to contract with four (4) experienced and qualified traffic engineering consulting firms, to conduct a variety of traffic engineering and operations consulting services to include any one service, or all services within any Group as listed in the Scope of Services below, based on fixed hourly rates. Each offeror is therefore required to submit its proposal for each of the four groups outlined herein. Four (4) contracts will be awarded, one for each of Groups 1 to 4 as described in Section B 5.3. Offerors must submit proposal for all Groups, but only one (1) Group is awarded per Offeror., Assignments for services that are not specifically related to the examples listed in the scope, but are within the Traffic Engineering discipline, may be assigned to the contractor selected through a competitive selection as outlined herein. The Contractor must provide all services as directed in writing by the Contract Administrator or designee. The County makes no guarantee that any or all the services will be utilized.
