Renovation of an office development in Denver, Colorado. Working plans call for the renovation of a 12-story above grade office development.
General Statement of Work: Renovation of the interior of the existing 12-story Wellington Webb municipal office building at 201 W. Colfax Ave. to consolidate staff utilization efficiencies, upgrade dated and worn-out finishes, meet current building codes, and meet necessary ADA requirements. Questions Deadline: December 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. MWBE Participation Goal: 21% Prequalification: Each contractor must be prequalified in category 2B General Building - Occupied Building at the $50,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City's Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Due to the specialized nature of this project, interested firms must also request and receive Project Specific Permission. Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, D.R.M.C. City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 D.R.M.C. As the City's best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all proposals.
