This Invitation for Bids is for the construction of LAKEWAY M.U.D. RECLAIMED WATERLINE RELOCATION, (Lakeway, TX 78734). The work generally consists of Reclaimed Waterline Relocation and Erosion Control Improvements (the Project ). Bids should be addressed to HSD Lohmans Partners, LP. ( Owner ), on behalf of the Lakeway Municipal Utility District (M.U.D.) (the District ). Bidders will need to enter proposed Substantial Completion Days and Final Completion Days as part of their proposal. Bidders proposed duration of Substantial Completion Days and Final Completion Days will be a factor in the consideration of Project Award. All questions, clarifications and requests regarding the project must be received in writing via email to Rob Hesley at rob@cbdeng.com and received no later than 12:00 p.m., November 14, 2022. Any requests received after said time and date will not be addressed. A Cashier s Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to HSD Lohmans Partners, LP., in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within 10 days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. The Bidder s surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within 10 days after award of the contract. The Pre-Qualification Statement included in the proposal packet as required by Lakeway M.U.D. shall be completed in its entirety and submitted as part of the proposal. Any proposal lacking the Pre-Qualification Statement will not be considered. No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the contract price and is to remain in force for a period of one year from the date of the letter of final acceptance from Lakeway MUD, WCID 17 and the City of Lakeway. The work in this project consists of relocating a reclaimed waterline and erosion control improvementsin accordance with the Subdivision Ordinances and approved construction plans and specifications for the City of Lakeway and Lakeway M.U.D.
