Project Locations: 725 Chestnut Street and 705 Market Street, Sunbury, PA The base bid includes renovations to the following: Roof Replacement and Renovations at Chestnut and Scott Towers. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Sunbury Housing Authority, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and acceptable surety (Treasury Listed) to the Housing Authority in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the Base Bid is required to be submitted with the sealed bid proposal. If a bid guarantee is not received, the Housing Authority will reject the bid proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to one-hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. Surety must be listed on the current U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. A one year Maintenance Bond will also be required from the successful bidder. Costs for all bonds is the responsibility of the contractor and shall be included as part of the submitted Base Bid.
