Renovation of a mixed-use development in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
The City of Aliquippa, PA, is requesting proposals for the Roof Replacement for the Fire Department and Street Department located at 1499 Kennedy Boulevard. The base bid includes removal of the existing metal roof, fiberglass insulation, gutters, and downspouts. This work will be performed under one (1) general contract. This includes one (1) based bid. There are no optional bids for this project. The City of Aliquippa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such award as most advantageous to the City. Bids may be held by the City of Aliquippa for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract or rejecting any or all bids. The City of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified bidders will receive due consideration without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, disability, family status, national origin, ancestry, or use of guide or support animals. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond in the amount of ten percent of the price of the bid, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal be accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
