Renovation of a residential development in Devens, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (MassDevelopment or Owner), a Massachusetts body politic and corporate established and existing under Chapter 23G of the Massachusetts General Laws, having its principal place of business at 99 High Street, 11th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02110. The project work consists of demolition and replacement of windows and interior renovations on two existing apartment buildings at 10 Bates Street and 14 Bates Street, and interior renovations on four existing single detached houses at 8, 9, 10, and 11 Auman Street, all in Devens MA. Interior work includes: full renovation of kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing floors, and interior painting, as well as upgrades to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. This is a Chapter 149 Project. General Contractors must be DCAMM certified in General Construction. Every request for information or interpretation must be addressed in writing by email on or before 5:00pm on Friday November 18, 2022. Questions received after this deadline may not be answered. The project work consists of demolition and replacement of windows and interior renovations on the existing two apartment buildings ("Townhouses") at 10 Bates and 14 Bates Street, and interior renovations on 4 existing single detached houses ("Bungalows) at 8, 9, 10, and 11 Auman Street, all in Devens MA. The windows to be replaced are double-hung types in brick veneer masonry openings on the first and second floors only, and do not include basement or attic. Interior renovations include full renovation of kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing floors, and interior painting. The work also includes upgrades to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The project shall be constructed so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the contract, the drawings and these specifications, all addenda that might be issued during the bidding period, and all change orders that might be issued during the construction period.
