Notify Owner and Engineer in writing of proposed shutdown of any Owner facility, and approximate duration thereof. Include date, time and extent of duration of shutdown in the written notification to Owner.Identify scope, equipment, and location prior to making shutdown. Do not shut down or cause any interruption of flow until all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform the work are present at the work site.Restore service as soon as possible. Immediately notify Owner of said restoration of service. The work will start on this contract within five (5) days of the issuance of the Notice To Proceed.The contract shall continue until December 31, 2023. The Contract may be extended in accordance with Article 11 of the Supplemental Conditions.Owner shall pay Contractor for completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents at the prices listed in the approved Bid, attached hereto and made a part hereof All specific cash allowances are included in the above prices and have been computed in accordance with Article 13.02 of the General Conditions.As provided in Article 13.03 of the General Conditions, estimated quantities are not guaranteed, and determinations of actual quantities and classification are to be made by Engineer as provided in Articles 10.05 and 13.03 of the General Conditions. Unit Prices have been computed as provided in the General Conditions. Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents, including postponement of the date and time of receipt and opening of Bids.Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Owner in writing.Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Owner-registered plan holders.Questionsreceived lessthan seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.Only responses set forth in an Addendum will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Responses to questions are not part of the Contract Documents unless set forth in an Addendum that expressly modifies or supplements the Contract Documents. All Addenda shall become part of the Bidding and Contract Documents.The Bidder shall acknowledge the receipt of all Addenda in the Bid. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner may consider any Bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions herein nonresponsive. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities.Owner will reject the Bid of any Bidder that Owner finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to be non-responsible. If Bidder purports to add terms or conditions to its Bid, takes exception to any provision of the Bidding Documents, or attempts to alter the contents of the Contract Documents for purposes of the Bid, whether in the Bid itself or in a separate communication to Owner or Engineer, then Owner will reject the Bid as nonresponsive.
