Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Burlington, MA, DPW - Facilities Division invites bids for the service described in the Public Works specification for 2 Great Meadow Rd., Building Improvements; Contract. The project shall include all labor, site preparations, staging, and all materials associated with modifying and infilling existing brick and block garage door openings, drill and pin #5 rerod to the existing footing to encompass the first two (2) courses of 8"x8"x16"CMU. Grout all cells at that level solid with cement, infill the existing right side garage door opening with a 53DD brick and 8"x8"x16"CMU backing wall. Install connecting wall ties from the block to the brick, every sixth course. Block durowall ladders every third course and #5 rerod 24" on center and grout solid with cement. End the wall butting up to the existing wall (dog-toothing is not required). Top, angle iron lintel existing 4"x4" rough window opening. At exterior of the left side of building #2, Excavate and area 8" deep x 8'x35'long. Install 4" thick layer of crushed stone and machine compact. Install 4" thick, 4,000 LB rated concrete mix with a broom finish. At the interior section of that wall, cut in four (4) 40" high x 32" wide door openings. Through the 8" wall, install (4) 3' x 3' angle-iron lintel headers. Stucco the door jambs with Type-S Cement with a smooth finish.
