Compensation Type: Cost Plus Fixed Fee Agreement Q&A deadline: 11/15/2022 11:00 AM County(s): CLARK Project Description: I-15 Stateline to Sloan Feasibility Study BackGround: The Department is seeking to hire one (1) firm to conduct a pre-National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) feasibility study that will follow and complete the Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) approach, to be subsequently tied to the NEPA process. The study will be utilized as a program level planning tool that can be used in advancing the corridor alternative(s) to the next level in the project development process. Project Scope: The southern portion of Interstate 15 (I-15), from Stateline to the Sloan Interchange, is located just outside the City of Las Vegas, and is essential for southern Nevada's economy, as well as serving as the primary access route between southern California and Las Vegas. The Scope of Services may include, but may not be limited to, land use and economic development review, traffic analysis and modeling, development, analysis, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and coordination of stakeholder engagement. A proactive planning and engineering feasibility evaluation are critical to the DEPARTMENT in terms of making sound strategic investment decisions in the future, and providing safe and reliable travel for the public along this section of I-15.
