Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Metter, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed includes the following: Hiawatha Street: Paving of APROX 2,300-lf of roadway beginning at South Terrell Street & continuing eastward. o Drainage Improvements: Installation of 135-lf of curb & gutter; Regrade and pipe roadside ditches including 207- lf of pipe, and six flared end sections, with an add alternate option that includes an additional 475-lf of pipe, five flared end sections, three inlets, & three manholes. S. Lewis Street: Installation of sidewalk on South Lewis ST from Lytell ST to Hiawatha ST. All work shall be completed within 120 days from the Notice to Proceed, which is expected within 28 days of the bid opening. However, The City of Metter may need to defer the Construction Notice to Proceed of the W. Hiawatha Street Paving Project for up to 90 days after award to resolve 2 outstanding Right of Ways parcels. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form included hereto and shall be secured by a surety company, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid. A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the DavisBacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. The contractor, or any subcontractor, submitting a bid for utility contracting, as defined in O.C.G.A. Section 43-14-2 to a utility system as defined in said section, shall conform to O.C.G.A. Section 43-14-8.2 et seq. with reference to Utility Contractor's Licenses and shall submit the bid with the license numbers, as issued by the Division of Utility Contractors, affixed on the outside of the bid envelope.
