Service Start : 1/1/2023 Service End : 1/1/2025 Short List Meeting: December 6, 2022, 8:00 AM, ET Virtual Meeting Interviews (subject to change): December 16, 2022. 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AMVirtual Meeting The Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking engineering services for the Energy and Environment Cabinet, Department of Natural Resources to provide engineering assessments of typical Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Features located at various sites in the Eastern and Western Coal Fields of KENTUCKY. Work of this RFP is for the East portion of the state roughly East of I65 but may vary dependent upon agency needs. The project includes but is not limited to: a review of available information for the site, in-depth engineering inspection of the site and identification of deficiencies, hydrologic analyses, geotechnical exploration and laboratory testing, and slope stability analyses, and development of remediation alternatives for any deficiencies identified. Other tasks include development of a Reclamation Action Plan. The successful design team shall provide conceptual alternatives to address adverse effects of pre-law mining if determined to be necessary.
