Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 20,377-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
From interested trades for the above-named Project. The Project consists of: The Art Sculpture Lab (ASL) at Sacramento State University is a new 20,377 SF, 1-story, type V-B building. This building will house art studios and shops for drawing, painting, sculpture, metal fabrications, and wood-working. An automatic fire sprinkler system is proposed throughout the building. This new Art Sculpture Lab will replace the existing art building which will be demolished upon completion. This project includes Small Business and DVBE participation goals, see bid request for details. Respondents shall be familiar with all of the provisions in the Contract General Conditions and Supplementary General Conditions, which will be included in the bid documents. This Project is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws (Contract General Conditions, Article 36.02). All Respondents/Proposers and all tiers of subcontractors who will work on this Project shall register to bid and work on public works projects with the Dept. of Industrial Relations (DIR), and maintain current this registration per Labor Code section 1725.5.
