Sealed responses, excluding pricing, to this opportunity for the Procurement of Bulk Chemical approved suppliers will participate in the online event to secure pricing on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM ET. The bulk chemicals required include but are not limited to: Liquid Polyaluminum Chloride, Hydrofluosilicic Acid 23-25% Solution, Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% Solution, Calcium Hydroxide 30% Slurry, Polymer (Liquid), Calcium Hypochlorite, Aluminum Sulfate, Aqueous Ammonia, Corrosion and Odor Control, and Sewer Line Stripper. This will be a one-year contract. All inquiries and questions prior to the bid opening shall be directed to Winchester Municipal Utilities Director of Operations, Kevin Mayhorn. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Bidders are cautioned that personal communication with Winchester Municipal Utilities Commission members regarding the bid prior to bid opening may result in rejection of the bid. The Contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who offers the lowest bid price subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners of Winchester Municipal Utilities. Winchester Municipal Utilities reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bid.
