Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians will receive sealed proposals from independent contractors for the provision of snow removal services from homes of Tribal Elders through the Lac du Flambeau Aging & LTC Program. It is anticipated that THREE bidders will be selected. Each of the three successful bidders will be required to remove snow from 25 Elder homes located in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. Each Elder home includes two entrances, and snow must be removed to permit access to each home via each entrance. Additionally, snow must be removed from the roof of each home once per season, i.e. Winter 2022-23. Each successful bidder will enter into a Snow Removal Contract with the LdF Aging Program for a term commencing November 19, 2022 and ending April 15, 2023. Proposals must comply with the requirements set forth in the RFP and be submitted, with copies, in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside. The Tribe will not assume responsibility for proposals mailed in through public or private mailing services. The Tribe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive technical defects and make the award to the bidder most competent to serve the Tribe's requirements.
