The City of Clearwater is soliciting sealed bids to establish a term contract for Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite (12.0 Trade Percent Available Chlorine) to the City of Clearwater's Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment plants. The bidder assumes responsibility for having the bid delivered on time at the place specified. All bids received after the date and time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in handling of the mail by employees of the City of Clearwater, or any private courier, regardless whether sent by mail or by means of personal delivery. You must allow adequate time to accommodate all registration and security screenings at the delivery site. A valid photo I.D. may be required. It shall not be sufficient to show that you mailed or commenced delivery before the due date and time. All times are Clearwater, Florida local times. The bidder agrees to accept the time stamp in the City Procurement Office as the official time.
